Another wedding proposal....

.
.
Good Morning Friends,
.
.
today is Wednesday June 10, 2009
.
.
It was a beautiful day yesterday and I jumped into the unit and went to visit my friend over towards Vancouver. Driving back home at around 17:00 hrs., and in the rush hour was absolutely delightful. With the top down and the sun shining down on me I was in perfect harmony with nature. It really was a beautiful trip home, which included driving over the Alex Fraser Bridge. I managed to drive by my friend's old house on the way home as well. Well, one block away anyway as that is my route home if you know what I mean. That is the girl of my dreams house that I am talking about. Her house in on the way to mine so that is always an extra thrill for me to be able to drive somewhat close to her place.
.
Anyway, I was thinking of pumping out another marriage proposal just for something to do. I think this would be number three. Oh well, I am not dead yet so I can keep this crazy business going for a while longer yet. When I am dead that is when the lights will go out and all the dreams will come to an end. Actually, my latest proposal would be related to the very idea of living.
.
And, here is how: I am now sixty years old so that means, that realistically, I could be dead at age 70, or even earlier. It is possible you know. But, I was just thinking. If I could get the girl of my dreams to marry me I would be so happy that I would probably live another ten years or so. You know, like up to 80 and beyond. But, I doubt very much that I will live that long if she does not marry me. And, further evidence to this very idea is that guys who marry younger women tend to live longer, so I really do know what I am talking about. And, apparently that goes for girls marrying younger men as well. I heard this stuff on the radio just yesterday. So, it pays to marry someone younger than yourself, or so it would seem.
.
Now, what I should have done of course is to already have made the offer to the girl because in that way we could have had a June wedding. I think most girls like the idea of a wedding in June. It could still happen of course but the whole thing would be certainly rushed to the limits. But, I would most definitely be up to it if she was. Just a thought. I don't know if I should create a special wedding proposal page or just post it on one of my existing pages. What do you guys think about this detail anyhow?
.
Well, it is back to work again so I have to prepare myself for this matter. It is always kind of fun going back after my long rest of course. It is kind of like a little holiday working this job is. I really enjoy my courier activities now that they are concentrated into just three days. I look forward to listening to the music all day while cruising around in the sunshine and then popping into McDonald's from time to time to get a snack and a coffee. That is my lifestyle right now and I am really enjoying it let me tell you.
.
For the song of the day I think I will move along to the year 1968 since that will be the next feature on the main part of my blog where I am detailing my life for you. This is the year when I enter university and I will be going there for five years. It will be a great experience of course, just like the carnival business which was happening simultaneously to that experience.
.
Here is a song that I remember, it is by Bobby Goldsboro. Interesting that this song came out as number two for the year ( 1968 ) and only beaten by the Beatles and Hey Jude. Remember, I was not really a Beatles fan as I told you earlier.
