Public offender number one....

Good Morning Friends,
.

today is Thursday November 5, 2009

.

Well, it certainly was not much of a day at work yesterday let me tell you. Money wise, that is. But, then again, they cannot all be good days. And, so it is with most businesses actually. There are the good days and then there are the bad days. I remember working in the carnival business for years too. Sure, you could be starving one day and the next day the money just pours in. So, I am used to these kinds of things friends and they do not bother me at all. When the customer is ready to spend, well, you just have to be ready that is all. In the meantime, you just have to accept what is happening and perhaps look around and try and learn something or amuse yourself while you are waiting for the dough to roll in.

.

The picture above is a mosque in the Newton area of Surrey. Just thought I would take a snap while I was stopped at the light there. Notice that it was a sunny day yesterday. Not too far from this picture was a police situation. A police cruiser was stopped off to the right and he had pulled over a van. The officer had two young men on the ground and they were handcuffed and sitting on the edge of the sidewalk. Who knows what the problem was. And, not too far away, just a few more blocks actually, there was another police incident. Three police cars this time were parked in a driveway and had some suspects on hand as well. They were ripping out the seats in a car sitting in the driveway. Looking for drugs, I suppose. All in a days work for the police I guess.

.

The pictures below are of the offending bathroom which I mentioned to you not too long ago. This is the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant and the problem has still not been attended to by the owners of this store. This first picture is the identical one which I took not too many days ago. I took another snap yesterday, but it was rather blurry so I am showing the older version of the same problem. There is absolutely no change whatsoever between the older picture shown here and what it actually looked like yesterday. The dispenser is still not repaired. In the photo on the bottom you can see more clearly the water running continually. And, this is very hot water as well when you turn the tap on full blast, unusually hot actually. So, here we are over two months later and the problem still remains.

.

Well, that is all for now friends and let us hope that today is a little more productive, money wise, at work. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I am going to get going on my play again and I am working on part ten now. This will be a scene with Goddess Ida and Matt just after the wedding of Katy and Carl. So, hope you hang around for that and the final parts as well. Talk to you all later. You can link to the play just below the pictures if you are interested.
