Good Morning Friends,

.

today is Tuesday December 15, 2009

Today is supposed to be the most difficult of the snowy days. Yesterday was not that bad actually, except there were some really icy sections of Road in Surrey. The roads were really deceiving looking. They looked like just slush and were black in appearance, but when you applied he brakes one simply skidded out of control. The ABS brakes are useless under these conditions and they lock up and just skid - totally dangerous. But, the danger on these roads was that it was really just black ice. Very deceptive and very treacherous indeed. Most of the other roads that I encountered during the day were rather tame compared to some of the early Surrey road conditions.

The weather forecast is calling for some snow today. So, this should be the brunt of the current winter conditions. In fact, it is supposed to be all over some time today as rain is forecast. That means that we should be back to normal in no time at all. And, normal around these parts means more rain and no snow. Anyhow, I am all set up and ready to endure whatever Mother Nature has in store for us.

It was not a bad day at all business wise yesterday so that was the plus part of the day. That is not surprising of course as this is mid month and also the week in which our customers send gifts to each other. So far though, not much gift giving activity on my end of things where I am working. Still following the stock market and wondering where it will take us, along with our hopes and dreams of course. So, hang in there and I will talk to you all tomorrow, the courier gods willing, that is.
