Good Morning Friends,

today is Wednesday March 31, 2010

It was a fairly decent day yesterday friends. Well, as decent as can be expected, that is. It wasn't warm or anything like that, it was just a better day than the previous one. I mean, there was no rain to speak of and no thunder and no lightening. It was even sunny out a bit as well. So, that was a nice feature of the day. I did manage to get a haircut and that was probably the highlight of my day.

.I don't know about you Gail, but I am still impressed with the viewers that I am getting to my top-rated video. That is the one with me in my Miata heading up to Squamish last September. Why I am still getting about ten visitors a day or something like that. I have all fifty states in the U.S. covered and lots of European action too. Mostly from the U.K. though and I suppose that is related to the Susan Maugham version of Bobby's Girl which is the song that is highlighted in the video. The original version was sung by Marcie Blane. Here is the video here and it has over 2000 hits now and that is huge for me:

This is really refreshing - and depressing for me at the same time though. I mean, I can go days without getting a single visitor to my blog here and over on the main part of my blog as well. I mean, this is where I do all of my heavy thinking and nobody even cares most of the time. But, that is just the way she goes I suppose. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

.So what do you think Gail? Are you still with us breathing types? I am sure you are doing well and things are OK wherever you are. Don't know what you would do if you were me, but tonight it is time for me to make another post over on the main part of my blog. I suppose my fans are waiting anxiously eh? What fans right? Laugh, laugh and laugh some more because that is what I am going to do. But, tonight I will do a post on my financial position which means of course providing an update on my stock portfolio. It is the end of the first quarter after all and I do have some modest gains to report. I have to wait until the markets close however, so that my data will be accurate and up to date. .I know that is a bit early yet to be talking about these kinds of things, but racing is coming up again on Saturday. If I am near the track tomorrow then I can pick a racing form so that I can study up on the situation. It is no big deal of course because I can even study up on Saturday if I have to anyway. .Got an important administrative job done yesterday friends, so that made me feel like I accomplished something. Boy oh boy, the weather was really something yesterday too. Very unsettled, kind of like my stomach gurgling away if you know what I mean. But, in the case of Mother Nature her problem was the combining of the hot and the cold, that is to say it was very thunderous out indeed. And, a bit of lightening too. But, very noisy indeed. Like huge firecrackers in the sky. See, that is how violent Mother Nature can be when she is upset. So, that means that something is upsetting the poor woman and that should be a great cause of concern to all of us. If we are paying attention to these kinds of things, that is.

.I wonder just what it is Denise? Do you have any thoughts on the matter? I bet you do, but you are just not talking eh? Secrets. Of course you can keep a secret. I even have a few of them myself. Secrets are a lot of fun of course, especially when you don't want anybody to know what they are. But, you know, there are so many things wrong in this world it is no wonder that Mother Nature blows her top once in a while. And, what about all of those earthquakes in the past little while? Do you think Mother Nature was responsible for all of those herself or were there other forces at work? Well, if I was Mother Nature I would be mad as hell if someone was messing around in my territory. How could I do my job if someone was screwing around with my stuff? See what I mean?

.But, you know, Mother Nature might be talking to us about other things as well. Like, how we conduct our business amongst ourselves, for example. Or, maybe there is something bugging Her in the political and economic world. Mother Nature knows what is going on everywhere you know. She knows all about the problems in the U.S. and in the Middle East region as well. She is not stupid and keeps her eye on everything that takes place in this world. And, when she speaks we had better listen or else. Why I bet you that somewhere in this world someone is up to no good and Mother Nature is trying to tell us something. She is most likely warning us about upcoming events. Bad future events. So, I don't know what you are going to do Denise, but I know what I am going to do. I am going to behave myself in the best possible way that I know how because if I do not Mother Nature will find out and she will deal with me in her own way and in her own time. I do not mess around with Mother Nature. She is just too tough a cookie for me.

Well, good morning indeed friends. I am still lying pretty low on this Monday AM. I have some tasks to perform and hopefully the Work gods will favour me in this regard. I hope Brenda is doing OK and is still alive and kicking like the rest of us. Not sure what Brenda's politics are, but I hope she is trying to pay attention to world events like I am. I ran across an interesting video yesterday and it concerns our friends here at Google and You Tube. It was good to see representatives of theirs at a big parade in Los Angeles regarding the Anti-War Movement and 9/11. I don't know how big it actually was but they say it was big, so I will accept that for now. I am happy to report that my associates think like I do along these lines. 9/11 clearly was an inside job. So, well done Google and welcome aboard. A little bit of truth never did hurt now did it? See video here:

So, that is all fine and dandy. America is really in rough shape you know, economically, politically, and otherwise. And, this 9/11 business is not going to go away. Sooner or later all of the elites and high ranking politicians are going to have to come to grips with this issue that will not die. And, the reason that they have not done so to date? The answer is simple friends. The U.S. is no longer a democracy. I know that might be a hard pill for some people to swallow, but I believe that is the fact of the matter. When the mainstream media will not even give the issue the time of day then you know that censorship is occurring and that means that democracy is not happening either. I do not know what the true motives of Google and You Tube might be for their apparent involvement in the 9/11 Movement, but that is rather irrelevant at this point. More people will become aware of the scam known as 9/11 and that certainly cannot be a bad thing. So, I don't know what you are going to do Brenda, but I think I will applaud Google for sensing that it is time to do the right thing. The truth is not going to fade away, it will only continue to haunt us in some form or another. Talk to you all later and have a nice day.

Not a bad day yesterday friends. A beautiful sunny day and convertible weather too. Made it out to the track like I said I would and had a pleasant time there as well. Spent most of my time socializing with the regular players like myself. And, some of these guys have been coming to these horse racing places for years and years, just like myself. Didn't bump into any close friends, relatives, or acquaintances this time around. Well, maybe next time. Who knows eh? It was mostly a productive day money wise and I won three triactors in all. They were not big payoffs but they paid the freight if you know what I mean.

.

So, now Judy, what would you do if you were me? I am supposing that you are still going and getting on with the business of figuring this whole life thing out. Quite a challenge eh? Well, I don't know what you would do Judy, but I know what I am doing that is for sure. It doesn't cost anything to be curious or to have ideas on these life matters you know. Life is free for the most part if you know what I mean. Free in the sense that it doesn't cost anything to speculate. Oh, I know that some of you guys are going to spout off right away that there is a cost to everything. And, that is very true. Everything costs something because everything is dependent upon something else. Pure and simple logic. But, we can pretend that things don't cost - right? Well, I certainly do sometimes anyway. I just like to think that my thinking is free, irrespective of the costs associated with being able to think that is. These are just a given anyway, right? Well, of course they are.

Well, Judy I think I am starting to ramble on a bit here on this Sunday morning so I hope you do not hold that against me. But, you know what I was thinking? I was thinking that girls are actually as smart as boys. Yes, I think it is true. They are just as smart and as clever, and maybe just as devious as well. Well, I mean, they are cut from the same cloth are they not? Well, of course they are. Even if you believe the Christian interpretation of things you would have to come to that conclusion as well. Same dirt and same genes and same everything. They are just different sexually that is all. That is the only difference as far as I can tell. Well, maybe man is built a little stronger physically ( there is an anthropological term for that but I forgot the name ) but, what the heck, the brain capacity is the same isn't it? I mean, a woman needs to have her mental house in order too just to be able to survive. Why sure she does. And, maybe she is even a little more cagey too. Think about it. If she is smaller physically then maybe this is her compensatory feature. That is, being able to be more devious than her male counterpart. Well, if you don't like the word devious then about more astute, or just plain cagey like I said. ( I read a similar idea back in my university days about how the Semites of the Middle Eastern deserts became more cagey and ingenious simply because of the dry desert conditions and lack of resources made them tougher mentally; their conditions allowed them to create ways to survive; they were forced into mental survival and they used their brains to survive and prosper. ) Did you ever read the writings by Arthur Schopenhauer and how he characterized women? Sure, he was a misogynist and that kind of thing but he also added something to the debate as well. He told us all about women and how they attract men and get them to marry them and take care of them. Now, that is a pretty good gig if you can get away with it right? Of course it is. And, that is why women are beautiful as well. When they are younger, that is. Schopenhauer talks about these things too. The female uses her beauty to attract a man; she simply uses her physical features to her advantage. Now, that is smart thinking if you want my take on the matter. And, that is why I like and appreciate women. They are good at what they do. And, so, as you can see, even though Schopenhauer was downgrading women he was pointing out another important feature of man, and this case woman. All humans can learn how to exploit their attributes that they were born with. That is the overall ingenuity of man. And, that is why man is the kind of the beasts. So, just what do you think of that Judy?

Ramble, ramble, and ramble on eh? Isn't that what this great life is all about? Now, where did I start this post this morning anyway? What was my focus and did I even have one? Are my thoughts connected in any way whatsoever? Well, I don't think you can get away with the connection now can you? No matter what I say and write down I bet that you can find a connection to just about everything I say. It can be no other way and that is because something causes something else to happen all the time. One idea leads to another and some new idea is formed. And, that is the beauty of the human mind dear friends. You can't keep a good mind down. No way. And, the female mind and the male mind are both good at these kinds of things. Why just think about the physical build of a man or a woman. A man or a woman will capitalize and use to their advantage their very own physical features. And, that includes their minds as well. Women are cagey in their own way, and so are men. They are both interested in sex more or less and they both want to survive. They will do the things that are right for them, in their own time and in their own way. That is what their brains gave them the ability to do. So, I guess this is just another way of looking at life. It is a battle for survival and a battle of the sexes all at the same time. And, who do you think the winner is Judy? Man or woman? Well, I guess the only way to answer that is to figure out what each one is after and then determine for yourself based on the facts who the winner and who the loser is. I mean, if you think winning and losing is what it is all about that is.

So, who knows what Judy would do. I am sure that she is just as confused as the rest of us concerning these male and female matters. But, then again how do we know if Judy is confused or not? We cannot make that determination because none of us really knows Judy or her mind. Maybe the girls are a smarter breed and maybe they have got the whole business figured out. And, how would you know if you were not a girl in the first place? See how confusing the whole thing is? So many questions that need to answered. So little time and so many questions. It is mind boggling now isn't it?

Sorry for the rather late post, but had something to do so I hope you will not hold that against me. I know that I am telling everybody that this is the home of the guaranteed daily commentary and that means that I will be doing my very best to get something down on paper every day. Even if I just pop in and say hello at least you will know that I am still alive and kicking and not dying of some horrible disease. You guys will be the first to know if that happens of course. But, I think you guys can appreciate that there might be a moment or two when I will not be able to do a post. You know, like I am out of town or something like that - or any number of unforeseen circumstances. My promise will be honored of course if I am able to honor it, if you know what I mean. Hope this sets the record straight for everybody.

.I guess the big deal for today is the racing aspect of the whole thing. Racing is coming down at approximately 1600 hrs local time so that is the focus for today as you can imagine. I had a fairly successful week at work as short as it was so that was OK of course. The weather does not look promising at all but there is nothing whatsoever that we can do about that. So, we will just have to deal with whatever comes our way.

.Anyhoo, just a great big reminder that if any of my friends and acquaintances, and yes, even relatives, are popping into town you know where I will be. So. see you there is you are coming and don't be afraid to call me if you need a ride. Talk to you guys later and have a nice day!

I just finished reading a short article about Ann Coulter over on the National Post. I don't want to outline in much detail how I am feeling after reading that because it would most likely just ruin my day. I can see now why some people did not want her to speak in our country. When a controversial figure such as she goes to another country and advocates that her country take over another that is when I get upset and want to " angrily " speak out. But, I am trying to remain my controlled self and I do not want to ruin an otherwise very successful week on a number of fronts. One of these fronts shall remain private for the moment. Possibly more on this later, but I cannot guarantee that I will be revealing this little secret to you. Some things, like I said have to remain unknown to the public. And, besides this is not some earth shaking event anyhow. Just something personal, and well, satisfying that is all.

We have to start getting ready for tomorrow's racing day friends. That is the uppermost thing in my mind as you can well imagine. It is what I live for, and crave. That weekend excitement that makes it all come alive for us, well for me at any rate. Are any of you guys racing fans? Harness racing fans, that is? Well, if you get a chance don't be afraid to head out to a track and see what the fuss is all about. You just might like it once you understand it and find out how you can have an entertaining weekend at a race track. It is harmless fun and can be good for your mental health as well. So, I am recommending harness racing as a viable activity if you do not know anything about it. It is a form of gambling, but that does not mean that you will lose your shirt or anything like that. Simply exercise good judgement while betting and everything should turn out just fine. A final word for my friends and acquaintances of course: if you are popping into town from out of town and want to go then you know how to get hold of me. If you have spent any time of my blog you will note that I am quite a political person. You will also note my sometimes rather, " hard core left wing " views. I don't like using the word " extremist " views even though that is how someone from the right might describe me. I don't like the word " extremist " because that is right wing labelling and is insulting to say the least. But, that might be the categorization of someone who does not necessarily know me and would also be the impression of someone who is still addicted to the mainstream media. These people simply have a different mindset than myself and they believe in different things. I left the mainstream media in disgust some time ago. I simply got tired of the lies and the propaganda and war mongering and all the rest. And, yes I even got tired of the entertainment as well. The things that are supposed to pacify you and not make you think about the real issues of our time.

Well, friends I have set myself free that is what I have basically done. The internet is my home now and I love it here. I can find in this part of the world many who think like I do. ( Just as an aside here. Did you know that the majority of Canadians now spend more time on the internet than watching their televisions? A truly refreshing statistic indeed ) But, I can also find those who are not like me and do not believe the kinds of things that I believe in. The sheep ( the great indoctrinated masses ) live here as well just like everybody else. These are the people that I confront sometimes as well. And, I confront the propagandists, the disinformationalists, and the apologists for the system as well. The internet is a free place friends so let us try and keep it that way. You can do whatever you want with the truth, but it is not going to die. You can try and hide it or even destroy it, but is like the Terminator; it will find a way to rejuvenate itself and come back to haunt you. The truth will never die, the real truth, that is. And, it is always there for the ones who want to be able to discover it.

Friends, I highly recommend that you visit a site called Information Clearing House if you want a little bit of data that will make you start to think a little bit. This is a site that attracts personalities like mine; it is a truth seeking site. On this site you find those who criticize governments and what they are trying to do to you. They are trying to control you and also ruining your lives at the same time, that is essentially what they are trying to do. These governments cause wars and they cause debts for you to pay. The governments of today do not work for the people, but rather, they work for the corporations and the bankers. That is the very simplicity of the thing. This kind of information or revelation even, is something that I like to call the truth. So, if you want to be just like me ( do you dare? ) then bookmark the site called Information Clearing House and begin the road to getting your mental house in order. I think you will find the truth a most refreshing thing indeed and it might even set you free as they say.
